waiting until May...

I've been in Old Bridge since April, but the Desktop has yet to make it to NJ. Hopefully next weekend I'll be able to pick it up and start to get things moving again. I'm getting much more comfortable with Eclipse environment and will likely be ditching the Textpad approach very soon. The first order of business will be persistent storage of rooms mobs and items. I'm continuing to investigate scripting technologies as extensions for mobs and rooms. So far several technologies such as jython, beanshell, and ruby all look promising. Most likely I'll put off these decisions until a later date. First priority should be persistent storage, followed by unit test plans.
